Women taking Online Theraphy

Individual

Typically meeting once-a-week over video, the client and therapist create a sacred space to address the struggles and difficulties, stresses and questions affecting the client’s outer and inner life. Often as the therapy progresses, it suits the client to meet less frequently. The depth-oriented therapeutic method addresses the issue and complexes and identifies unconscious, long-standing patterns, feelings, and negative perceptions. Working with dreams often awakens untapped creativity and informs the direction of the therapy. This approach addresses the symbolic level of the symptom or issue, taking into consideration the history of the issue, its origin, and development in order to understand the underlying and not yet conscious meaning of the symptom or problem.

Couples

The depth psychotherapeutic approach to couples specialises in relationship enhancement, treating couples who have relationship and communication issues and want to improve their relationship. Additionally, we work with the individuals within the partnership separately who want to develop themselves emotionally within the context of their relationships. The therapist will see the pair together and individually to address the systemic symptoms that are drawn out through the alchemical vessel of a romantic relationship. Relationships are viewed as the ideal container for personal growth and transformation as they bring forth so many of our personal challenges, inviting us into deeper healing and soulfulness.

Youth

Counselling is a space that facilitates growth and healing for individuals of all ages. Several research studies are now showing that one in five adolescents – 20% – suffer from a mental health issue. Not only that, but the increase in suicidal rates among youth is heartbreaking.

Although many of these issues start during adolescence, they often go untreated. But just as you see a certain doctor for a certain medical problem, it is just as important to see a therapist or counsellor for a mental health problem.

Many youths are dealing with problems such as: anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts and self-injurious behaviours, drug abuse, trauma, dissociation and withdrawal, phobias and obsessions, ADHD and other divergent thinking, school-related difficulties, relationship and communication problems, confidence and self-esteem issues, adjusting to transitions and family stressors, questioning their gender, sexual orientation, identity, self-image, spiritual beliefs, and more.

Our associate therapist Siarra Sens work with youth taking a relational and depth-psychology approach. Siarra finds creative and gentle ways to build curiosity, insight, and ownership of lost or denied parts in order to feel more confident and freely express their authentic selves

Depth psychology coaching

Some business people are able to use coaching receipts for professional development, business expenses, and income tax deductions. For these reasons, individuals may prefer the receipt be made out for ‘coaching,’ rather than therapy.

Depth Psychology Coaching works with the unconscious and those that:

  • Are trapped in a situation, career, or relationship that can't figure out how to accept or leave

  • have already had a crisis or an unraveling, and you need a framework for reconstructing your new self

  • after ending a long-term relationship, jumped into a new one and now see red flags

  • after divorce, focused on themselves first, and now are feeling insecure about dating, love, your body, and sex

  • are just obsessed with depth and curious about the deeper meaning of everything.
